Queens of the Stone Age :: 2003 -- Part 0

In 2002, PNE pitched a groundbreaking concept to rock-and-roll band QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE: to create a completely original concert print for every single date of an entire U.S. tour, available for sale at the actual shows. Lead vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme was pleased with several prints that Justin Hampton had done for them up to that point. Being a huge poster art fan, he thought it was worth a shot.

PNE worked closely with QOTSA to organize an experimental set of prints for the Japanese leg of the bands 2003 tour. Justin, Emek and Jermaine each designed a single poster for each of the three Japanese dates. They were overwhelmingly successful. PNE was immediately commissioned to design the complete catalogue of posters for QOTSA's landmark 2003 'Songs For The Deaf' Spring tour. The rest is now poster art history.
