What have the Orinda Group principals been up to lately? Well, we've been busy!
  • In February, John, Jeremy and Allyson attended the California Association of Museums annual conference in Long Beach, CA. Many familiar faces were seen and new contacts made. The sessions were compelling and timely, addressing issues from 2.0 technologies in museums to "green" building and sustainability. In fact, the entire conference was planned with green initiatives in mind.
  • Meanwhile, Buff has been finalizing the design and layout for the catalog to accompany the groundbreaking exhibition (both physical and online), Force of Nature.
  • Jeremy has been very actively involved with the Mountain-Plains Museums Association, serving both on the Board and as Chair of the Technology Committee. He has even created a mySpace profile for the organization.
  • We continue to work on interesting web and media-related projects for Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc., as well as working on the development of upcoming traveling exhibitions, including Starstruck, featuring the photography of Gary Lee Boas.

This week, Buff and Jeremy will be at the Museums and the Web conference in San Francisco. They look forward to (re-)connecting with colleagues and seeing the latest in museum web projects from around the world.
